Nothing seems to change.
A girl I lived in residence with named Megan Walther is in South Africa right now. She just wrote this article about the kid’s temper tantrums. It’s good to know when I go back, not everything will have changed! It’s pretty funny, and so true.
It reminds me of my first day taking care of the kids. I took them to the park and struggled to get them back home again in the midst of a fury of temper tantrums. “You’re not invited to my happiest birthday party!” Ah yes, my favorite.
Skylar & Sarah’s Wedding.
Sarah and Skylar got married on Friday June 1st.
It was a beautiful wedding. These are just the unofficial pictures. I can’t wait to see their actual photographs since their photographer was really good. My personal favorite wedding photographer was busy being the MC for this wedding, so he didn’t not have as much time to take pictures, but there are a few good shots.
It was bittersweet watching Sarah get married. She’s been my closest friend for the past three years, and we’ve lived together for all that time, and have been fairly inseperable. It’ll be strange not having her around as much. But, I’m so happy for her and Skylar, and excited for them as they start their new life together. They’ve been looking forward to this day for a long time, and I think it was almost perfect! Sarah was so beautiful. And the wedding was a reflection of how fun both Sarah and Skylar are. I’m so happy to know them!
